Board Policies

All HOPE properties shall be properly maintained and located in typical residential neighborhoods that are reasonably safe and relatively close to community businesses and services.

All HOPE properties shall be located within the Harbor Regional Center service area.

Acquisition of properties which require rehabilitation/remodeling is considered appropriate.

All HOPE tenants shall be Harbor Regional Center clients and shall receive any needed developmental services and supports from HRC. HOPE shall not provide developmental services and supports for tenants.

All HOPE tenants shall have a private room.

Rent for HOPE tenants shall be not more than 30% of gross annual income (proportionate monthly amount payable monthly).

Each Trustee shall raise at least $2,000 for HOPE annually.
