Charles DeCuir Joins HOPE as Manager of Operations and Finance

On January 4th, HOPE was excited to welcome Charles DeCuir as its newest member of the team! Charles is coming onboard as Manager of Operations and Finance. He will be charged with overseeing investments, accounting activities and audits. He will act as a liaison to HOPE committees, board and financial partners. Charles will also spearhead the development of internal policies and procedures, event cash management and reconciliation. Finally, he will contribute to the property purchase process by assisting with applications, escrow and negotiations.

Charles has a broad knowledge base of the nonprofit sector, city government, HUD and grants. He studied at USC's Marshall School of Business and California State University, Los Angeles where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He previously worked with Fohrman & Fohrman Inc where he held the title of Financial Consultant/Account Manager, and before this he worked in the mayor's office for the City of Los Angeles as the Financial Management Director.
