HOPE works very hard to make each house feel like a home.  Meet Dustin Dilworth, one of the contractors behind-the-scenes making what we do possible. 

HOPE's partnership on the C2C program is a way to provide college students with developmental disabilities a full college experience.  

There are so many wonderful reasons to give to HOPE this Holiday Season.  Of course, this time of year is always a good time to give to make sure that you have a tax deduction before the year ends, but giving to HOPE can provide so much for so many.

Our newest affordable home was officially opened Thursday, Sept. 25th in Norwalk.  

We are in need of generous donors to help us get our newest home in Norwalk ready for tenants by October 1st.  We hope you will consider making a donation.  

HOPE is renovating a three-bedroom, two-bath house on Bacarro St. in Long Beach. Funds from the Del Harbor Foundation, US Bank, Union Bank, Rose Hill Foundation, and year-end donations will be used for a “make over” at the property.

One day, I imagine myself working at a library, living in a nice house, and perhaps supporting a family. While this dream may sound easy to reach, it is something not so easily attainable among individuals with disabilities. 

Grant Baxter, our tenant living at the newly purchased Ximeno condominium in Long Beach, made possible by a grant by the County of Los Angeles Housing Authority City of Industry Fund, is enjoying his new activity: cycling.

In April 2013, David Whetstone moved into his new home in Cerritos, CA. David had been living at Lanterman Developmental Center in Pomona since the age of four.

HOPE is thrilled to announce that we will be embarking on a 5 year Capital Campaign starting in 2014 to raise over 2.6 million dollars to purchase more properties for our Affordable Rental Housing Program.

HOPE was lucky enough to participate in three special events over this past year. In March, HOPE was selected as the recipient of the Del Amo Rotary Club’s “An Evening of Comedy and Charity” at the Hermosa Beach Comedy Club.
